Seyðisfjarðarkirkja is famous mainly thanks to the rainbow road that led to the church. it is one of the most picturesque churches to visit in Iceland.
The sculpture by Berliner artist Lukas Kühne known as Tvísöngur creates an interactive tribute to the unique Icelandic tradition of five-tone harmony. Once inside the domes, you will discover that they have been designed to resonate in different harmonies, thanks to the wind coming from the sea.
They are basaltic rocks in memory of the great traveler Þorbjörn Arnoldsson erected by the people of Seyðisfjörður.
