Jökulsárlón is Iceland's largest and most famous glacial lake. One of its most striking features is the presence of numerous icebergs.
The Skaftafell National Park was established on September 15, 1967. The Morsárdalur valley, Mount Kristínartindar and the Skaftafellsjökull glacier are located in the park.
